ABC-embroidery-designs.com is a sister site of ABC-cross-stitch-patterns.com.
After launching our first web site (ABC-cross-stitch-patterns.com) and maintaining it for a while,
we were seduced to expand from designs in machine cross-stitch to other styles and techniques.
Although at the beginning it was mainly due to lots of requests from our existing customers,
digitizing designs for regular machine embroidery appeared to be much more exciting than
we have ever thought it to be, and the results are very appealing too. So we felt that
the new designs deserve a separate "home" from the machine cross-stitch site:))
This time we have much more considered the needs of 4x4 inch hoop owners, which was always
a problem in cross stitch style, especially with the fancier and more complicated designs.
Almost all designs in regular machine embroidery technique are perfectly suitable for
small hoops and are readily available in SEW & PCS formats (as well as in many others -
Pes, Art, Hus, Vip, Shv, Exp, Dst, Xxx, Jef).
We have discovered that many designing techniques that can be made in cross-stitch are very
hard or almost impossible to achieve in regular machine embroidery, and of course the opposite.
When we start digitizing a particular design, we try to choose the best technique to show
the original artwork's beauty. That's why you will notice that we have absolutely different
collections on the two "ABC" sites, they almost never are alike, and unfortunately we can't
"convert" cross stitch designs to regular satin stitch machine embroidery and the opposite:))
We will add new collections often, we almost always have something "in stock" that is not yet listed.
Each and every design is test-stitched until it sews out perfectly, so "what you see" on the pictures
is "what you get". Many designs even look more beautiful "in life" than on the pictures.
In case you are looking for a particular design, please don't hesitate to email us. Even if we
don't have it at this very moment, it may be a good idea for future designs set, and we always
seriously consider your wishes and requests.
